Shockwave Player For Mac Os X 10.4 11 Download
The Player(s) appear to allow one to view added content in web pages, since the newer
versions of the source code and software used in making those pages does change, a
newer version is sometimes necessary to see that content. The technology is changing
and so one can expect a gradual shift over time. Notice now Panther 10.3.9 users have
found their old browsers and some online content does not work now? The Flash and
Shockwave Players (adobe) allow for content to be used, including some video.
A few workarounds do exist in the case of older OS X version difficulties; but they're
also going to fade and not work after a time. And hopefully something newer which
is also backward compatible may be forthcoming for older hardware that can't run a
newer OS X version. Short of just scrapping a decent old Macintosh for want of internet.
(You can read about some of the technologies the players are designed to help view
by going into the Adobe web pages to read about some of their software advances.)
Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
